I just changed the oil and used 20/50 royal purple. The owner's manual says oil capacity is 3.5 quarts so that is what I put in. When I check the oi, it's past the full mark on the dipstick.2002 Road King. The service manual says 3.5 quarts oil needed when changing. Just drained all oil, replaced the filter.
