If you are staying on server purple osds give a lot but you need at least two people. People mentioned the element veins already, but make sure you start the low level ones as you're out looking.

Chainsaws do not work sadly. Tested on singleplayer. For question 1, they updated it so dinos cannot harvest element vein. When they were first enabled and wiped bases, you could but that was a very brief time. The mantis and chainsaw question though are some tests I would like to try at some point though.Those commands start a Level 1 OSD and Element Vein respectively. Replace the 1 with 2 or 3 to start a medium or hard one. Keep in mind that they also spawn naturally and don\'t have to be forced. Both, Crates and Element Veins still need some time after being Force-Spawned to actually appear.
