The problem with using Vic3 as a basis for EU5 is that Vic3 covers a hundred years when a lot of countries went from being 80% farmers to 20% farmers (if not even more extreme). In EU5, most countries go from 95% farmers to 90% farmers (not actual numbers, I can't be bothered to look them up) over four hundred years..Many fans will continue to play EU4 but gradually as EU5 gets better they will switch over more and more.
