My guess is that Nintendo isn't doing something right, so auto for that setting doesn't work with the switch, where as something like the PS4 would work fine. Though it seems like for all the standards involved there are many conflicting implementations.

The C1 recognizes the Switch when it is plugged in (it changes the input name to "Nintendo Switch"), but the C1 refuses to actually switch over to the input. The input appears to be selectable when I click on input button on the C1's controller, but it stays on my PC's input regardless of how many times I tell it to swap over to the Switch.
