Here's my first attempt at writing a build for any game, really. This build revolves around the spear - and in particular, the spear's ability to charge into a dash attack. Spear weapon aspects for Achilles/Hades also add more DPS than Sword weapon aspects (minus potentially Poseidon depending on how great of a cast build you made). Some of Sword's hammers add more damage than Spear's hammers (the double nova one in particular is amazing), but now you're talking very specific builds you have no way of controlling.Necro, but I'm impressed with others' builds. I felt that Rama was the easiest to try 32 heat at. Dionysus special, Aphro attack and go for Low Tolerance and Bad Influence. Dionysus strips damage control for free which is awesome, and Rama lets you do big damage to many enemies with the attack.

Try to get extra dashes from Hermes, maybe some Crit stuff from Artemis. I just had my first spear win with a 100% dash build. Poseidon + Zeus ftw. Achilles Aspect. Dionysus cast and Demeter 1st teir boon, then look for Demeter/Dionusus Duo boon. Throw every pom you find into the cast, ignore everything else. Achilles spear + Aphrodite cast + at least 3 or 4 poms on your cast. Throw the spear, bullrush so you land behind the enemy, turn around, cast as many times as you can. The enemy should be dead by then or at least have taken a ton of damage. Artemis or Chaos boon for more bloodstones helps.

I've been trying to beat Hades (no heat) with each weapon, and the Achilles spear was the last one I did. I ended up doing it today with Poseidon on special, dash, and cast. Knockback bonuses and rupture. Had a Zeus boon for god gauge and Artemis on call, and was able to use the full god gauge power three times during the Hades fight. Achilles spear is actually the best aspect for hunting blades, which is very popular. Hades spear appears to suck. Not sure what a best build would be per se, but all I use is achilles. Hades requires spinning, and guan yu gimps you so much. I'm currently at like Heat 9.
