Versus monsters with heads or other parts very weak to cutting (55+ or 15+ above shot), this set up will easily sub 5 with a little practice (Got the new "hidden" monster in 4:30 with it).Pierce can work if the monster is long enough and you're consistently shooting down the longest line of the monster, but generally speaking, spread is significantly easier to use and deals more damage since you can focus weak/ tenderized spots as well.
